I'm actually not sure if it ever was a real overload, could also jut be that the web server config we have limited the connections. Nowadays, this does not seem to be an issue - probably due to the fact that there are tons of torrent seeders for the current downloads, and many people use it. Changing to the current server was not entirely voluntary - we had our previous one failing, and now GNOME generously provides a virtual machine in one of the data centers the use themselves. > Personally I feel the "Download" button on the front page should > actually download the software (detecting your browser language and > platform). Re: [Gimp-developer] Sourceforge downloads

Looking at the sidebar on the Summary page there is this notice: > Hey, this isn't a SourceForge project! Check out the SourceForge Open Source > Mirror Directory for more information. It also appears that the account the project page belongs to is "sf-editor1", and a lot of well known projects are listed on the user page: http://sourceforge.net/u/sf-editor1/ I'm also noticing VLC on that list, which abandoned SF as well if memory serves me right. The box in the sidebar links to http://sourceforge.net/mirror/ and explains that they are mirroring popular open-source projects which are not already on SF or no longer maintained. The last section claims they want to hear if "you don't want your project mirrored on our site" and points to the email address: communityt...@sourceforge.net Then again, all they are saying is that they are willing to listen, not necessarily that they will do anything about it... I wasn't already subscribed to this mailing-list, so bear with me if I messed up the addresses or missed some replies which were not yet shown on the archive page. [Gimp-developer] Brush Selection Dialog in the Tool Options
Hi, The brush selection dialog from the brush preview button in the tool options does not get updated with the brush filter. Could you kindly make it updatable with brush filter. It would be nice to also have the same brush selection dialog wider than the tool options panel boundary, maybe an on-screen floating dialog to be invoked with some hot key, like in Photoshop. Submitted for your review and consideration.
