I'm so stupid this is much better way to do things :)

I think it'd be a good idea if the ability to select individaul
negatives etc went in the driver. I don't know if this is possible but
it'd be much simpler. I'll send an email to sane-devel I think.

[Gimp-user] speed text

In the version of gimp (1.2x, I believe) that I use there is a script for
logos called 'speed text'.  I was wondering if there was a way to render
a similar effect on black/white images. Probably a closer look at the
script would tell me what the steps are to produce this effect.  But as I
am new to the gimp it is hard to make heads or tails of it.
