[Gimp-user] Re: ps-menurc update for 1.3.16

2003-07-05 Thread Eric Pierce
Small ps-menurc update for 1.3.16:
epierce.freeshell.org/gimp/ps-menurc

Added 'Show Grid'

Also added a bit of text to the webpage:
epierce.freeshell.org/gimp/gimp_ps.php

Sven, I tried setting Zoom 1:1 to 'Ctrl-Alt-0', but it doesn't work. Is
this a no-no since it's using 'Alt' and a potential mnemonic conflict?

Thanks,
Eric Pierce

Yes, open plug-ins/common/jpeg.c in your favorite editor, change the
default value and recompile.

To ensure that you don't lose any quality, you should really be using
a different format than JPEG which is always a lossy format.

i've has a look and there doesn't seem to be a way of doing that, there
isn't such a filter as far as i can see, you could try embossing it
lightly as another layer and then pasting that on top, inverting the
colours and blurring etc and you'll get something similar but not the
same, considering the overall result (wthe effect you want to achieve) i
don't really think it's a big loss to be honest :)
