[Gimp-user] 2 questions: New Image Fill and Saving Guides
Hi Gimp-user, 1. Are Options #1 and Option #2 the same? Option #1: File / New Fill With: Transparency Drag the FG color (default - Black) to the layer. Option #2: File / New Fill With: Foreground color (default - Black) 2. Can Guides be saved (like channels and paths)? Thank you. -- __ DJ ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user

Guides are saved when you save the project in XCF format. They do not have a dialog like channels and paths, but there are menu options for dealing with them under the Image-Guides menu. -- Michael J. [Gimp-user] gimp-gap 2.6 ahead
for your information: We have created a gap-2-6 branch and intend to do a 2.6.0 release of the GIMP Animation package in about a week. It will contain improvements in storyboard editing and processing and video encoding that now was updated to use ffmpeg0.5 as main engine for encoding and decoding vedeofiles. Lots of fixes have been done to make GAP work better with the GIMP 2.6 release. Developers and users, please give the gap-2-6 branch some testing and make sure that any problems are reported at bugzilla.gnome.org for the gimp-gap product. Translators, please update the information on l10n.gnome.org and help us to ship gimp-gap 2.6.0 with lots of uptodate translations. Thanks a lot for your attention. ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
[Gimp-user] docking dialogs
I guess, this is a pretty simple question. I have a separate workspace for GIMP (Ubuntu Jaunty). I've got the GIMP main work area in the middle of the screen and two dialogs, Tools and Layer Channels Paths, docked, one on each side. This setup comes up when I click the GIMP icon. I would like to dock the Undo HIstory dialog (and maybe others too). But altho the dialog has been docked before exiting, when I restart GIMP, it's not loaded, tho the other two are. How do you get dockable dialogs to dock and stay docked? Thanks for any help. -- Roy S. [Gimp-user] Anyway to add multiple Guides at once?
Hi Gimp-user, Didn't see it in the manual, but was wondering if there is a short-cut to adding multiple Guides at once (ie., a comma-separated list)? I have about 15+ Guides to add. I setup a keyboard shortcut and entered them one at a time. Thank you. -- __ DJ ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
