Re: [Gimp-user] Problem with plug-in-sample-colorize in batch mode
If you apply the patch attached to the following bug report and recompile the plug-in, your script should then work. https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=640612 ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
[Gimp-user] Sizing Question
I have a jpg file, sized at 8.5 x 11, resolution 300 dpi. When I attempt to print that file, either directly to the printer or to pdf, the output size says it will be 8.5 x 11 but instead always prints at a fraction of that (about 2.5 x 4). Why? and How can I print the original size?___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user

[Gimp-user] Using Script-Fu, how can I get coordinates selected by a user on an image?
Hi All, I am trying to write a script-fu script to process white board photos. I want to select four coordinates to do a perspective-transformation and crop on. Is there a way to interactively let a user select points on a photo and get that information back into the script? Thanks, Rob -- Rob Frohne, Ph.D., P.E. E.F. [Gimp-user] Can't access Script-Fu
Hi, I'm having a problem accessing Script-Fu. As I understand it, when I click on FiltersScript-FuRefresh Scripts, a menu should appear alongside Filters. This is not happening. The scripts I want to use are Script-Fu Layer Effects Drop Shadow, ... Inner Shadow, ... Bevel and Emboss. I'm running GIMP 2.6.8 on Ubuntu 10.04. Any help would be much appreciated. No suggestions? Perhaps reinstall GIMP? Or is Script-fu not available with GIMP on a Linux platform? Unlikely, I guess. I've checked Preferences but couldn't see anything relevant. -- mamboze (via gimpusers.com) ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user

Quoting mamboze for...@gimpusers.com: I'm having a problem accessing Script-Fu. As I understand it, when I click on FiltersScript-FuRefresh Scripts, a menu should appear alongside Filters. This is not happening. Script-fu is installed (most likely); however, there has been no top-level Script-Fu menu since GIMP 2.2 -- all scripts and plug-ins are now placed in the menus according to their function, not what language they happen to be written in. The scripts I want to use are Script-Fu Layer Effects Drop Shadow, ... Inner Shadow, ... Bevel and Emboss. Layer Effects is a third-party script and not provided with the GIMP distribution. It is available from the GIMP Plug-in Registry. http://registry.gimp.org/node/186 ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user

mamboze wrote: I'm having a problem accessing Script-Fu. As I understand it, when I click on FiltersScript-FuRefresh Scripts, a menu should appear alongside Filters. That is incorrect. Script-Fu scripts are loaded during the time when the splash screen is showing Starting Extensions with extension-script-fu below that. The Refresh Scripts menu is used to reload script-fu scripts after a file was changed without the need to restart GIMP. The scripts I want to use are Script-Fu Layer Effects Drop Shadow, ... Inner Shadow, ... Bevel and Emboss. Plug-ins and scripts are no longer in the menus based on the language used to create the script but based on their functionality. Most of them are located under the Filters menu. For example, Drop Shadow is under the Light and Shadow sub-menu of the Filters menu. Bevel is under Artistic, and Emboss is under Distort. ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
