[Gimp-user] Gimp-GAP not in the menu !!!
Hi, Just build and install gimp 2.0.1 and GAP 2.0.1 on my mdk 9.2 box. Gimp works fine, but I can't get the GAP plugins in the image menu. I checked the path, and even deleted my pluginrc to force gimp to rebuild it, nothing works. The gap_ plugins are in the [GIMP]/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins alongside the standard plugins, but nothing to do to get them at work. Any idea ? Hi, looking for a way to make fixed ratio selections, such as H/W=1.5 for instance. My purpose is to crop photos to eliminate unwanted parts, while keeping the same H/W ratio from the original. can someone help ? ___ Gimp-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.xcf.berkeley.edu/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user

[Gimp-user] scan an image in Gimp
That's it ! Installed sane on my brand new MDK 9.0 and it works fine. Now, I want to scan from the GIMP, so linked xscanimage in my ~/.gimp-1.2/plug-ins/ and it doesn't work ! Even tried to link it in /usr/lib/gimp./plug-ins/ and nothing more. What's the trick ? ___ Gimp-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.xcf.berkeley.edu/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
[Gimp-user] accents !
Hi, I would like some help for that : when I try to use the freetype plugin under linux, I can't get accents on characters. Here, in France, I do need accents. Using always the same True Type font, I can get accentuated chars in kword, for instance. I tried using the gimp for windoze, freetype plugin, same font and it works... So, what's wrong ? what can be done to get it work under linux ? Dan ___ Gimp-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.xcf.berkeley.edu/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
