That is not a bug, a first-loaded filter will be enabled. -- Yoshinori Yamakawa ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user

Re: [Gimp-user] Separate+ 0.5.8-beta1
Hi, Separate+ is not a simple RGB->CMYK plug-in any longer. I think we have to remove some features and elements (profile selection widgets, devicelink profile support, icc_colorspace plug-in and so on) if it will be merged into the GIMP 2.8. [Gimp-user] Separate+ 0.5.4-beta1
Hi, Separate+ 0.5.4-beta1 is released. http://sourceforge.jp/projects/separate-plus/releases/41810/ Devicelink profile is supported in this release. (The separate plug-in only, icc_colorspace don't support yet) If you want to try it, turn on "Use devicelink profile" on the Separete dialog, and choose the RGB->CMYK devicelink profile. Destination profile is not used for RGB->CMYK conversion, but it will be attached into result image. In non-interactive mode, for example: ( plug-in-separate-full 1 img layer devlink "" FALSE FALSE 0 FALSE FALSE ) The 8th-10th parameters are ignored. -- Yoshinori Yamakawa ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
Re: [Gimp-user] Color profiles & color spaces -- assignment v. conversion?
Hi, "Assign colorspace" and "Convert colorspace" are provided by the "icc_colorspace" plug-in. This plug-in is bundled with the Separate+. # In the future, the support of abstract/devicelink profiles will be added to this plug-in. > How is assigning or converting a *colour space* different from a > *colour profile*? Re: [Gimp-user] Color profiles in jpeg images
To remove the ICC profile from the image, you can use gimp_image_parasite_detach procedure or icc_colorspace plug-in. The icc_colorspace plug-in is a part of Separate+ package. See http://cue.yellowmagic.info/softwares/separate.html 1.Open the icc_colorspace's "Assign colorspace" dialog via |image|mode|Assign colorspace... 2.Click "Unassign colorspace", and click the OK button. 3.Save the image as JPEG or PNG. -- Yoshinori Yamakawa <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
Re: [Gimp-user] Plug-in for assigning / converting colorspaces
Hi, Sven Neumann wrote: > This functionality is already provided by the lcms plug-in as included > with GIMP 2.3. I have already known that. > There is still some user interface changes missing, but > it will provide this functionality for 2.4. If an appropriate UI is added for 2.4, I think it to be wonderful. The icc_colorspace plug-in was not made in order to disturb that. The support of the abstract/devicelink profiles will be added to this plug-in, but I think that is unnecessary for the lcms plug-in. And, two types of "Absolute colorimetric" intents are included in the icc_colorspace, but these are also unnecessary for the lcms plug-in. I think that there might be some expert users who want to use ICC-based functions right now. The icc_colorspace plug-in is useful for them. Of course, the better way for the ordinary users is waiting for the release of 2.4. -- Yoshinori Yamakawa yam at yellowmagic.info -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Plug-in-for-assigning---converting-colorspaces-tf4216439.html#a12000261 Sent from the Gimp User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
[Gimp-user] Plug-in for assigning / converting colorspaces

Hereafter, we can use the new plug-in too. The new plug-in (tentative name: icc_colorspace) works with the GIMP 2.2.x or 2.3.x.
