[Gimp-user] scale problem while printing

hi all

im using GIMP 2.6.7 on Xubuntu 9.10.

im trying to print a graphic designed at 300 dpi on an A4 sheet. but on
printing the dpi is increasing 332 dpi and reducing the size of the artwork,
with unnecessary margins. even increasing the scale option in the print
windo is not effecting the print size.

any clues how to resolve this?

This is my first query on this mailing list - i didnt mean to be rude - just
trying to elicit a reply. But im sorry to have had to use such tactics. Will
refrain in future.

Thanks very much for the tips - not very used to the GIMP interface so i
missed the "ignore page margins" tab.

How would you recommend to print, if not directly from GIMP?
