mapping to a cylinder?
Just what it says. I want to put a flat graphic on the side of a silo--is there a way to map this image? I haven't figured it out yet. -- Thanks! Jim Clark 816/926-7902 http://www.act.fcic.usda.gov/

I replied to you individually--got bounced. Hi Zach--all I have is map to a sphere or a plane. There's no cylinder there I see. Is it my old GIMP? 1.0.4 -- Thanks! Jim Clark 816/926-7902 http://www.act.fcic.usda.gov/

Is it my old GIMP? 1.0.4 The newer version of MapObject in GIMP 1.1.10 has Cylinder. It may also be on the registry. JPEG header not found.
Hey all, I'm trying to build the gimp v1.1.10 and I get the following error message. checking for jpeglib.h... no configure: warning: *** JPEG plug-in will not be built (JPEG header file not found) *** I have libjpeg.so.62 installed in /usr/lib as well as jpeglib.h in /usr/include. Could someone shed some light on this. Do I have to wrong libjpeg version, etc? Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks, Jeremy
RE: JPEG header not found.
Hey, Sorry, KDE had installed another libjpeg with the support package. I removed it, and all is fine. Thanks, Jeremy
