Hmmm,

Well done both.
The first one is nice.
(You may want to say what cubicdesign is in small letters at the bottom (or
not))

For the second I'd change even chicks to something else and slow down the
animation a tad.

I like nr 1.
I don't get the point on nr 2. 
My girlfriend thinks nr 2 is cheap. :-)

I like #1 best.

#2 looks very nice too, but I
a. fail to see what you mean with it exactly.
b. am getting rather sick of all these blinking animated banners all over
the web. :-)

Both have a nice design though, I like that font, and the colors are nice too.
