GIMP Users, I hate web based forums/help because it is a royal pain to use. There is an alternative. It is "comp.graphics.apps.gimp" news group. Not familiar with news groups? If you use Thunderbird, the newsgroup reader is built in. A great provider is news://nntp.aioe.org. Fear not, they are very easy to use - just like email. [Gimp-user] News list being retired
I see that the plan is to go to yet another web based mess. I don't care for the idea of having to have an ID and PW to ask a question. Please at least consider guest accounts, or re-think the whole idea. There really must be a better way. [Gimp-user] LED white christmas lights effect
I plan to take some pictures of some Christmas poinsettias with pine branches around the pot and think the picture would be better if there were white (warm) LED lights in the picture. The problem is that the string needs to be fairly short, and stores have sold out all Christmas lights. So, my next option is to create them in GIMP. Anyone done this and can you offer a genera procedure? [Gimp-user] 2.10 help files, PDF version
I just upgraded to 210, but no help files. Not in Ubuntu 18.04 repository either. Are the help files completed yet? Also, an idea when a pdf of the online version of the manual will be available. Online is ok, but my preference is for pdf. Also, any rumors on when a book on 2.10 may be available.?
