You can find a combined 32+64-bit 2.10.0 installer here:

I tested that it properly upgrades 2.8.22, and it works as a new install,
too.

Thanks for the rockin' response, Rich!

I'm so dang busy I think I'll just wait some time, perhaps for a subsequent
release, to see if an official installable 32bit version surfaces.

Thank you Rich. My OS isn't letting me install the 64bit version, so perhaps
I'll hope for a future 32bit installable one.

OTOH, what would I sacrifice with a portable version? Would I 'simply' need to
learn if there is/how to get my settings and customizations to persist?

It is possible. Will there be a 64 bit version with 32 bit support for plugins
as Gimp 2.8.x? - I do not know.

This a portable Gimp 2.10.0 from samj that comes in 64 and 32 bit **separate**
installations all in the same 7-zip archive

see: https://samjcreations.blogspot.co.uk/

The download link: http://www.aljacom.com/~gimp/GimpEval-2.10-Win monster 400
MB file.

I wonder if versions after 2.10 will have 32-bit versions?

In the "mathmap" discussion, someone stated GIMP 2.10 is strictly
64-bit. I was interested in a 32-bit Windows version as well. Oh well,
I'll just have to upgrade to a 64-bit version of Windows. :)

Peace...
