I suggest to give Elle the latest dev version of babl to edit the way Elle wants
and compared it to the developers version and let the best image output win.  I
know egos run high when it's your baby. Sometimes a little nudge is helpful. My
wife kicks me sometimes to get me going in the right direction.

Just to be clear, Elle is in no way qualified to make major changes to 
babl, GEGL, and GIMP. Elle's ability to write c code is extremely 
limited and every bit of code she's ever contributed to GIMP has 
required major cleanup on the part of the real programmers.


Also, all in all, Elle thinks babl, GEGL, and GIMP are pretty cool already!
