Re: [Gimp-user] integrity of distorted images
G'day Ofnuts ! Thanks for the tip - you're right, according to the histogram the ratios do alter a bit but using this tool I should be able to balance them as required - you're a champ! best lunact On 25/09/2013 10:13 PM, Ofnuts wrote: On 09/25/2013 02:29 AM, kev wrote: Hi Gimp Folk, Just started to explore gimp. If I create a square (jpeg) that is exactly 50% black and 50% white and then distort the image using, for example 'i warp' or 'whirl & pinch', will the colour proportions of the resultant image still be exactly 50/50? Hoping some tech minded person can confirm and explain this ?? Why don't you try yourself? Use the Histogram dialog to check the result (I'm pretty sure the ratio is not kept)? ___ gimp-user-list mailing list List address:gimp-user-list@gnome.org List membership: https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user-list -- Best regards Kev Hartley 0401 206 342 No voice mail - if unanswered please call again or text. ___ gimp-user-list mailing list List address:gimp-user-list@gnome.org List membership: https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user-list
