[Gluster-devel] ./tests/bugs/distribute/bug-1389697.t generates a core file

2017-06-30 Thread Kotresh Hiremath Ravishankar
Hi,

The above mentioned distribute test case generated a core
which is not related to the patch.

Here is the backtrace.

[Gluster-devel] Call for Gluster Summit CfP Committee

2017-06-30 Thread Amye Scavarda
Hi all,
As we move into setting up for Gluster Summit in October, I'd like to
put out a call for the committee that will help vote on talks and
travel funding as both of those will rise up in the next day or so.

This is a pretty painless task that can be a lot of fun:
You'll be required to read the talks, vote on them and discuss for
about an hour on what the schedule should look like.

This year, we're also doing travel funding as an application process
and I'll need community input on that. I'd like to have the CfP
committee assist with that process but it shouldn't require much more
than about an hour's worth of review.

Ping me if you'd like to be on the committee, about 5 people will need
to be involved.
Thanks!

[Gluster-devel] Registration and CfP open for Gluster Summit 2017

2017-06-30 Thread Amye Scavarda
I'm delighted to announce that registration and the call for proposals
for Gluster Summit 2017 in Prague, CZ is open.

We're changing it up a bit this year, anyone can register, and if
you'd like to apply for travel funding, please indicate this on the
registration form. Don't worry, you'll get a copy of your responses.
I'll be following up with the folks who indicate they're applying for
travel funding separately. Visa letters will also be a separate
application.

Registration:
https://goo.gl/forms/pry9xjnXz434urOo2

Call for Proposals:
Your submission should be a proposal for a 25 minute talk, a 5 minute
lightning talk, or a collaborative birds of a feather conversation.
Submitters should consider audience takeaways as well as how this
proposal will move the Gluster project forward.
We'll be accepting proposals until July 31st.
Accepted proposals will be notified the week of July 31st.
