Thanks for the info. Let me debug this issue on a centos image. Will update
here once I get some data.

openssl-devel and openssl come from the same source package. I can't change one
without the other. So the problem hasn't changed. This code should work with
whatever is shipped with Centos 7 at the very least.

I did not realize that I have mentioned "openssl" instead of "openssl-devel".
My apologies. I guess in both fedora and centos should have openssl-devel
1.1.0.

Apologies again for the inconvenience.

Thanks & Regards,

[Gluster-infra] [Bug 1511263] SSL for docs.gluster.org

2018-03-08 Thread bugzilla
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1511263

Ok so we need to add the domain:
https://docs.readthedocs.io/en/latest/alternate_domains.html

For ssl, we have ssl from browser to proxy, but that's cleartext to RTD. is
that ok, I assumed we want it for SEO mostly.

COMMIT: https://review.gluster.org/19629 committed in master by "Xavi
Hernandez" with a commit message- tests: don't kill the
process directly with KILL signal

Instead send the SIGTERM (default, 15) first, and at the end
send SIGKILL. If SIGKILL is sent directly, we miss many tests
like valgrind, lcov etc., not able to process the information
properly.

So we have docs.proxy.gluster.org setup now, but it do not seems to work as we
want. Is there anything to do RTD side for that ?

This is a problem. You cannot have a version of openssl that is not installed
by default. This will lead to complications down the line. I see that Centos
has openssl 1:1.0.2k-8.el7. So what is causing the current failure?

I made space. We would still need a spring cleanup of the server :/

We can't have a backport of openssl on EL7. Nigel, any opinion on this ?
