Vikas,

Are you sure that the password you provided is the "default" one? I
just tried it and its failing.

Re: [Gluster-users] snmp

Given that ssh access is disabled by default, which I understand why
that is, I would be interested in learning what the options are for
enabling something like net-snmp on the server. Between snmp and ssh
access there would be a starting point for getting data.

Hello,

Is there a way to monitor a gluster platform server via snmp?

Given that you can configure snmpd to trigger and report the results
of more or less anything, the answer is theoretically « yes ». The
real question is whether you can gather the data you want reported i
n the first place.

[Gluster-users] Gluster Storage Platform NFS export

2010-04-13 Thread David Christensen
I am having an issue allowing non-root users the ability to write to an
nfs mount that is being shared from a volume on my newly installed
Gluster Storage Platform.

I have tried everything I know to allow read/write access however only
root is able to write to the mount point. How is this done using
Gluster? I know from standard NFS configurations both the client and
the server need to have users that have the same UID/GID and thought
that this might be the issue but I am not sure if it is.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks,
