Hello dears,
how can i share the arbiter node between two-three gluster clusters ??
I've got two clusters ( centos 7.2) with gluster (3.8) filesystem and
I'd need to share arbiter node between them to spare server nodes.
exam:
gluster volume create SDAP1 replica 3 arbiter 1
16.0.0.161:/GLUSTER/sdaP1/GFS 16.0.0.162:/GLUSTER/sdaP1/GFS
16.0.0.159:/GLUSTER/1KVM12-sda1/GFS force
but gluster peer returns error:
peer probe: failed: 16.0.0.159 is either already part of another
cluster or having volumes configured ( YES, it IS , I know)
So, exists any way how to fix this wish ?
No, peer probing a node that is a part of another cluster is not
supported in gluster. All volumes need to be a part of the same trusted
storage pool (i.e. cluster).
