String additions to 'gnome-applets.HEAD'
This is an automatic notification from status generation scripts on: http://l10n.gnome.org/. There have been following string additions to module 'gnome-applets.HEAD': + "Pl_ugins" Note that this doesn't directly indicate a string freeze break, but it might be worth investigating. ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n

String change in backup-restore plugin.
Hi, I have resolved different string issues in backup-restore plugin. 1.Using only one term in backup-restore plugin by replacing occurence of string "archive" with "backup". 2.Replaced string "With GUI" by string "With Graphical User Interface" in ../plugins/backup-restore/backup.c:48 to help in translation. 3.String "Mails/Calendars/Tasks/Memos/Addressbook" is replaced by "Mails, Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, Memos" in ../plugins/backup-restore/backup- restore.c:238. 4."Backing up to %s" is changed to "Backing up to the folder %s" and "Restoring from %s" is changed to "Restoring from the folder %s" in ../plugins/backup-restore/backup.c Thanks Anand V M ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n

GHex Migrated to gnome-doc-utils
Hi everyone, I've just committed the changes to ghex to migrate the documentation to using gnome-doc-utils. Please, if you can, updated the existing XML files and png images in figures/ to align with the latest screen shot recommendations for GNOME documentation. And please make sure the translations are up to date as well. All of the translated versions are out of date with the untranslated version. See http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=333819 It would be great if we could get this fixed up for 2.20. Thanks to Claude for helping on IRC, and everyone. -- dobey ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n

Speaking of that, I filed a bug regarding the 'Stretch Icon' in nautilus. I think that 'Resize Icon' would be better since it also involves shrinking the icon. http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=459900 Regards, Daniel ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n
New UI/Strings in EOG
Hi, I just commited a new error dialog to EOG. It is shown when the user tries to save to an unsupported file format and should avoid a crasher. This adds 3 translatable strings to EOG. 1) "File format is unknown or unsupported" 2) "Eye of GNOME could not determine a supported writable file format based on the filename." 3) "Please try a different file extension like .png or .jpg." 1) is the title while 2) and 3) form the secondary text (separated by a newline). See bug #427806 for more details. Bye Felix ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n
