Yes. The situation is that if you are unable to use the Mango page for
a new account request (language team missing from list or whatever),
you should use the old manual method of sending an e-mail with all the
details to [EMAIL PROTECTED], and we'll have to deal with the account
request manually.
Please note though that all of
http://live.gnome.org/TranslationProject/RequestingAnAccount and
http://live.gnome.org/TranslationProject/AccountFAQ and
http://live.gnome.org/NewAccounts still apply though, except for the
Mango bit of course. In particular, please note that you will still
need to have already contributed and need your language team
coordinator's approval in order to get an account.

If someone wants to clarify the documentation, please go ahead.

I updated the above information in the following page:

http://live.gnome.org/action/info/TranslationProject/RequestingAnAccount

Perhaps someone might want to take a quick look just in case (since this
is the first time I am writing anything to live.gnome).

Thanks a lot

Yes, we will do a 1.2.1 within two weeks for translation updates.
Several translatability bugs were fixed yesterday, so I recommend
grabbing the latest from trunk to translate. We're now in a string

Thanks for taking this seriously. It is appreciated.

Hi,

Looks like somebody deleted the team 2 months or so after it was born,
treating it as inactive, which of course doesn't make any sense. Can
this be re-evaluated and addressed?

Also, if you can commit the first translation, that would be great,
otherwise i don't know how long it's gonna take:

And your files should be committed under crh.po, not crh_UA.po. The country
suffix is only used when there are several existing variants of a same
language.

Many thanks to Claude Paroz and Christian Rose for quick response wrt giving
me an SVN account and updating http://l10n.gnome.org/teams/mr . I went
through the bug list and would try to resovle them asap.

Please take your time -- sometimes it is better to get started using
SVN doing simple incremental contributions, rather than solving every
possible existing bug. The bug list wasn't meant as something that has
to be rushed and immediately completed (except critical bugs), just
something that would be nice to have resolved as soon as you feel
familiar with SVN.

I took the liberty of editing this -- I already added some bit about
the [EMAIL PROTECTED] alternative on
http://live.gnome.org/NewAccounts a few days ago, and that page
already contains important information about our policy (e.g. account
names) that is important to read and follow even if you cannot use
Mango, so perhaps it is better to only list the e-mail method on this
page, as
http://live.gnome.org/action/info/TranslationProject/RequestingAnAccount
already directs to it. We'd very much like that people have already
read the instructions at http://live.gnome.org/NewAccounts before
mailing the accounts e-mail queue. Opinions?

Anyway, Runa, thanks a lot for looking into this.
