Another string change in Evolution

2008-08-31 Thread Matthew Barnes
In order to fix bug #544430 we had to introduce new strings to replace
some badly decomposed ones related to displaying quota usage.

Re: ChangeLog (or lack of it)

2008-08-31 Thread Christian Persch
Hi;

the presence of a dummy po/ChangeLog file in modules that otherwise have
a no-ChangeLog policy (e.g. epiphany, gnome-games) is necessitated by an
intltool bug, http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=550044 . Once
that's fixed and in an intltool release, the affected modules will be
able to remove po/ChangeLog completely, thus enabling you to detect this
simply by the (non-)existence of that file.

Regards,
Christian

I see a few modules don't use ChangeLog anymore, at least inside po/.
I like using shell scripts to avoid repetitive typing when I review
other people's translation, but this issue keeps slowing me down. Is
there some way for a script to guess whether if a ChangeLog file is
 deprecated?

You can suggest to the maintainers to move ChangeLog to ChangeLog.old
and provide a ChangeLog.readme to explain the situation. Or something
like this. At least, you won't have a ChangeLog file, so it'd be easier.

String change in gnome-panel

2008-08-31 Thread Sean Burke
I've committed a patch in gnome-panel that manually sets the title of
the about dialog, allowing it to be translated properly in some
languages where it could before.

Now the question regarding the idea is where is that place with a Tx
common instance. It's at Fedora, not at the Translation Project, as Claude
suggests to move Tx there, and as probably should be done, nor at GNOME (in
this case too, all GNOME translators would be more than happy). :-)

The instance of Tx off the Fedora Infrastructure is a 'working'
instance of Tx and not the only possible instance of the software. I
guess what Dimitris is trying to get across is that if the GNOME
Project sees value in Tx, having a Tx instance off GNOME's GTP
Infrastructure is not an impossible task.

[ANNOUNCE] String changes made in Evolution Exchange

Hi,

There seemed to be a string which missed the freeze deadlines during the last
