Change openId login in damned lies

2009-02-07 Thread Antonio Lima
Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to change my openId login in
Damned Lies. I've been looking for a option to do that but I can't find
one.

Dudes and dudettes,

This is a test, as i've never used this interface:

http://l10n.gnome.org/vertimus/gnome-themes/HEAD/po/crh

P.S. And what on earth is Inform of submission supposed to do? I
thought it'd email somebody, but it appeared to just delete the uploaded
file when i tried it twice. It's been a week, so apparently i have to
request this by email.

Thanks.

  Hi, folks.

I'd like some help/direction on how to fix bug 498402 [1].
It's about strings like 'bEnter a name for this connection/b'.

These strings come from glade, and are marked for translation. I know i
should cut the html tags, but is there a way to do this without need of
coding? Can glade/intltools strip those marks away automagically?

There is an old debate I see you found here:
  http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97061

My personal preference here would be to support the
attributes property in glade, as proposed by Matthias.

Then the preffered way of setting markup would simply
be through a separate property. (the bug also mentions
certain conflicts when setting attributes use_underline
and other auxiliary properties, these conflicts IMO should
 be dealt with in gtklabel.c).

 Cheers,
   -Tristan

Tristan recently fixed this: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97061#c31
Tristan: I owe you a big favorite drink of your choice...

I would like to start a GNOME Goal for this longer term:
http://live.gnome.org/GnomeGoals/RemoveMarkupInMessages
Please fill in with affected modules, comments, how to fix, etc and
other details.

Might not be doable in the GNOME 2.26 time frame though, unless many
modules can be resolved in time for the string freeze at February 16th

String change in Brasero

2009-02-07 Thread Philippe Rouquier
 Hi all,

I had to change two strings in brasero to fix bug #570235. I changed the
two strings:
Substitute and by
into
_Replace and with.

First it avoids problems with the above bug (though contexts could have
been used as well).
Then, it also correct a grammar issue since it is substitute A _for_
B. Moreover substitute A for B means B is changed into A which was
the opposite in the UI.
That was also an opportunity to add a mnemonic which was missing.

Here is the change:
http://svn.gnome.org/viewvc/brasero?view=revisionrevision=1887

Thanks,

Philippe

submitting translations with Damned Lies

2009-02-07 Thread Dangerous Piper
I've submitted some new translation with the new form in damned lies few
days ago but i can't see the updates. So I'm not sure if this is the
correct way or if I have to continue submitting my translations to
bugzilla.

Thank you

Dangerous Piper, Asturian team.
