Hi,

I added new translatable string "Getting printer information..." to
gtk/gtkprintunixdialog.c:1854 (inside selected_printer_changed () function).

Any programmatical approach would not work for Scandinavian languages
or any other language that uses suffixes or prefixes, like for example
as used for the definite article. See my reply on xdg-list:

gnome-control-center string changes

2009-08-06 Thread Claude Paroz
Hi,

I just committed a patch to fix
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99759 in gnome-control-center.
This removes markup inside many strings.

(No copy to doc-list as this doesn't affect the UI.)

It seems Iestin have now a Git account.
Does this also mean that the cy coordinator should change? Is Dafydd
still active on Welsh translations?

Hmm, sorry about that.

However, the last release of Sabayon was 2.25.0. There were never any
2.26.x releases. I intend to make 2.27.0 this week; do we still need a
branch for 2.26? I never intend to release that; Sabayon was way too
broken in that time period :(

String change in gnome-desktop

2009-08-06 Thread Federico Mena Quintero
Hi, translators,

I committed a change to
gnome-desktop/libgnome-desktop/gnome-rr-labeler.c. It has a new string
"Mirror Screens". This should already be translated in
gnome-control-center; you can steal the translation from there :)

Thanks,

New strings in yelp

2009-08-06 Thread Shaun McCance
I've just committed the libegg-based session management code
in bug #580425. This change contains the following strings:

"File is not a valid .desktop file"
"Unrecognized desktop file Version '%s'"
"Starting %s"
"Application does not accept documents on command line"
"Unrecognized launch option: %d"
"Can't pass document URIs to a 'Type=Link' desktop entry"
"Not a launchable item"
"Disable connection to session manager"
"Specify file containing saved configuration"
"FILE"
"Specify session management ID"
"ID"
"Session management options:"
"Show session management options"

Since this is copy-paste code that's used throughout Gnome,
I suspect most translators already have translations of these
strings. There shouldn't be any documentation impact.
