Although this certainly looks like a sentence is being
constructed by concatenation, instead of with a format

Indeed. Bug entered:

l10n developer bugzilla request

2009-10-07 Thread Bruce Cowan
I've been fairly recently been given Git access for en_GB translation.
I'd be very grateful if I was made a developer on the l10n project on
Bugzilla, so I can close en_GB bugs myself.

Instead of developer status, I just gave you the permissions to close
bugs. That is what you're really after.

What do you mean by Vertimus administrator? What operation are you
missing?

New application needed translation

2009-10-07 Thread Pierre-Luc Beaudoin
Hi!

I just announced Emerillon [1] and I would like to get help translating
it into the wonderful different languages of the world!

The translation should be a charm as everything is setup in the po/
directory.

You can grab the code from Gnome's git:
git clone git://git.gnome.org/emerillon

Thanks!

Request string freeze break for EOG

2009-10-07 Thread Khaled Hosny
Bug #597059 makes EOG's statusbar text translatable, it was previously
concatenated from other translatable strings, but this isn't a good l10n
behaviour for many languages.

I can manually update PO files to use a concatenated string so there
shouldn't be any difference from the current situation, after branching
eog for 2.28 we can mark those strings fuzzy for translators to review
them. What do you think?

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=597059

 Khaled
