  Hey!

I don't know whether this is an oversight, but when selecting
gnome-extras, gthumb's branch has been set as gthumb-2-10.

There's been a lot of work going on in master branch for a while, so I
guess it would be nice to change it back to master.

Well, it depends on the version which is mostly distributed. Only the
maintainer of the module can tell us which is the current version.

The master branch has still some missing features compared with the
gthumb-2-10 branch, however it is usable and stable enough to be used by
the mass, I suggest to switch back to the master branch.

Thanks for the answer. Done.

String review for gnome-color-manager

2010-02-19 Thread Richard Hughes
Hey,

I've attached the gnome-color-manager.pot file for current git master.
I would very much appreciate it if you language legends could take a
look at my attempts to make calibrating color easy, and suggest better
sentences if my words do not make sense. If there are any difficult to
translate sentences, or strings without context that need context then
please shout. Thanks!

Richard.

Here's a grammar review, I don't know about ease of translation, as I
only translate to en_GB. Some of these suggestions may be wrong (it's
rather late) so feel free to ignore them.

Perhaps could be rephrased to something like This colorimeter device is
not designed to profile projectors.

#: ../src/gcm-calibrate.c:705
msgid
Ensure that the contrast and brightness is not changed and color
correction
profiles are not applied.

Should be are not changed.
#. TRANSLATORS: message text
#: ../src/gcm-calibrate-manual.c:215
msgid
This dialog will calibrate your display and create a custom ICC
profile.
Display calibration will involve several steps so that an accurate
profile
can be obtained. It should only take a few minutes.

Maybe should be something like will help calibrate, because the
dialogue itself isn't doing the calibration.

#: ../data/gcm-prefs.ui.h:19
msgid
Delete the disconnected device - if you reconnect the device it will
reappear in the list

Besides this, there are a few places where ... is used instead of …,
see http://tecnocode.co.uk/2009/10/01/unicode-in-gnome/ for discussion
as to why the proper ellipsis should be used.

svn.gnome.git email

2010-02-19 Thread Matej Urban
Hello,

I have a question that I do not know whom to ask.
I'm wondering what happened / will happen to my @svn.gnome.org email,
which is bound to my account name. Lately I got a feeling, that this
email is not working properly. As I understood this email should
become an alias to @git.gnome.org, but that email is also not working.
Can someone point me in the right direction. I do not want to use an
email in translations, that does not point to anything.

Thanks.

Re: svn.gnome.git email

2010-02-19 Thread Johannes Schmid
Hi!

Better ask the sysadmins about it!

Anyway, @git.gnome.org and @svn.gnome.org and even @cvs.gnome.org are
all just aliases to @src.gnome.org and this normally gets redirected to
your account e-mail address.

But feel free to just use your normal e-mail for contact information in
translations.

Regards,
Johannes

@svn.gnome.org and @src.gnome.org are both working

@git.gnome.org was never setup, always @src.gnome.org since Git (if we
ever are crazy enough to switch from Git)

@cvs.gnome.org might be disabled at one point (to limit the amount of
spam)

The cause of your problems is that you're using gmail to test the
aliases. The replies are blocked by gmail (due to the way the aliases
are setup).

IIRC it only works after you add @src.gmail.com as one of the From:
addresses, otherwise it'll be (IIRC) silently dropped.
