mail address change and file committing ways
1. First of all, I regularly have troubles accessing mail list with this mail account (asprayama at yahoo dot com), and I would like to change it. Should I re-register for the mailing list, and whom I should ask to change information page about armenian translation team? There are some information which I would like to add. 2. As far as I understand I can access and edit armenian team page at http://l10n.gnome.org/teams/hy 3. How to login to http://l10n.gnome.org/login/ ? I was using svn access with ssh key and was uploading files via ssh. Recently we have new active members, thus I expect valuable amount of new contributions and bug fixes. Update SpokePersons list
In the lifetime of an OpenSource project, new people get involved, help regularly or not, alternate between active/inactive periods and sometimes leave. So that the GNOME translation project remains active, the roles change, and I think it's time to update the list of SpokesPersons[1]. Danilo doesn't seem to be active anymore and Claude Paroz is always helpful and present. What do you think about updating the list of SpokesPersons to reflect that change? Re: Update SpokePersons list
Hi all! I was going to write a similar mail after the release. Well, I think the role of the SpokesPerson is rather obsolete as the the coordination team replaced them quite good. But I agree the Claude should probably take the role as coordinator of the coordination team. Anything else should be handled by the coordination team and we might need some new faces there as well. I might be a good idea to have an IRC meeting of the coordination team in the next weeks. If Claude agrees with his new role, then I think it's a good idea. :-) However, as Johannes has suggested, and I can only second that, we might want to have a discussion whether an institution like the GTP spokespersons is really needed in the GTP nowadays, as we have the actively working Coordination Team... And yes, Claude might definitely become a [good] leader of the team. And last, but not least, let's listen to the current spokespersons to get their view on the topic. My 20 hellers.
