Anyway I thought we were trying to get rid of messages containing
formatting tags (, , etc). Weren't we?

Cheers.

Sure, now I see that there are devhelp messages as well. I don't blame
you for fixing this, obviously, but I do think it is disrespectful to
translators that NONE of the developers on either of the development
teams thought to look for this before now.

Those were messages not previously marked for translations, so, I went

Yes, it was easy, but unfortunately nobody saw that before.

Anyway, if nobody wouldn't noticed it, the program would be shipped with
some parts in English, and it couldn't be translated at all. Now we have
at least the opportunity of translating it 100%.

GNOME-i18n survey status

2010-09-21 Thread Gil Forcada
Hi all,

I'm terribly sorry for not having finished processing the survey data,
I'm halfway of it.

Since, as you already know, we are busy finishing the GNOME 2.32
translation I hope to resume the work and have everything done in a week
after the release.

So far the answers I have read are really interesting!

Cheers,

Yes, there are several types of notifications from the TP.
One of them is an e-mail which has the new .po file that has been
submitted and translated.

If someone wants to take this further, they could contact TP and the
gstreamer developer so that they make use of these notifications. The
problem is with the process of the developer taking up the new
translations which currently looks like it is manual.

missing from POTFILES.in, not a break.
