It turned out that is was quite easy to get on the internet at my
temporary resident in Leiden, Holland, so I can commit these my self
now, unless someone has already done it.

Kelvin "degrees" in gcalctool

2011-04-03 Thread Luca Ferretti
Checking gcalctool translation I've found a (huge) error:
NC_("unit-symbols", "degK,˚K")},

see http://git.gnome.org/browse/gcalctool/tree/src/unit-manager.c#n100

Kelvin scale is an absolute scale, and the unit is "kelvin", not
"kelvin degree".

Today I've no time and opportunity to prepare a patch and propose it,
and maybe it's too late for a string/code freeze break.

Should we postpone the fix to 3.0.1? Or can someone do everything is
needed in time for 3.0.0?

Cheers, Luca

Done a thorough check now, there doesn't seem to be any 3 letter mime
type codes.

I've matched http://l10n.gnome.org/teams/?format=xml with
/etc/mime.types on RHEL6, and only found the following matches:
  .el .gv .ms .pl .ps .si .sl .tr

If someone wants to look at it, I've put the files at:
http://people.gnome.org/~ovitters/tmp/rhel6-mime-type-extensions
http://people.gnome.org/~ovitters/tmp/l10n-teams

Matching is easily done in python:
>>> a = set(open("rhel6-mime-type-extensions", "r").read().splitlines())
>>> b = set(open("l10n-teams", "r").read().splitlines())
>>> for lang in sorted(a & b): print ".%s" % lang,
...
.el .gv .ms .pl .ps .si .sl .tr

If it can be clarified what rtl_*.css files are used, I can try to fix
them myself.

The username / password pair is gnome / 3.0. Also you will want to use
http://library-next.gnome.org/misc/release-notes/3.0/ now, updates to
the old one have been stopped as we prepare the switch.

Thanks for the heads up.

I just spoke to Andreas Nilsson about this (who wrote the site). He
said he'd have a look at it when he can. If anybody can offer any
advice (or even contributions ;) ), that would be welcome. We're
pretty busy with the 3.0 release.
