Hi,
Why is an official release set so dynamic and unstable? I thought at
least its contents should be approved by some kind of authority so that
new (even if they are 'old') modules appear in the sets with less
amazement for translators and integrators.
Is there any formal rule to populate sets with modules?

Puh, we are in hard-code freeze already and there isn't really much time
left for translators. Anyway, I guess we don't want to have blocker bugs
left for 3.2 at least if we can fix them beforehand.

Nice work with the release notes. The new parts that I have seen so far

We might want to do that, but this would be done after the overview and
search bits of the control-center get the updated designs.

Even in that case, the Wacom panel is still directly accessible from

Overall I think it would be stupid to fail here because of string
freeze. But I would suggest to add some context (and if it's just a link
to the screenshot) to that string because I guess for some languages
there might be more options to translate it.

In addition, this could also be just "Suggestion" if there is only one?

String freeze break request for gnome-contacts

2011-09-19 Thread Alexander Larsson
I know this is kinda late, but I would really really like to get this in
today before the hard code freeze.

The link dialog shows a list of all contacts that you can link to, and
at the top it shows some suggestions that folks recommends. We really
want to add a header to this list that says "Suggestions", but this
would add a new string. So, can I add this?

The patch for this (and mockups for how it looks) is at:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=657944
