Hello

as of now the gnome3-web git module does not seem to be used at all. I
could not find any of its content on the current gnome.org web sites.

Will someone remove it from git and damned lies? Or at least
remove from DL and rename the git module to e.g. gnome3-web-2011-old ?

In DL we also have the GNOME Web site • Dynamic / Static content under
infrastructure. According to the README, wptest.gnome.org is the
playground to test before publishing on the real web server.

I commited new German translations to the wptest branch, but I cannot
choose German ath the bottom of wptest.gnome.org. Italian is also
missing. Are updates turned off for wptest.g.o ?

[nazgul@rivendell static]$ git branch
  master
* wptest
[nazgul@rivendell static]$ ls
de.po fr.po it.po LINGUAS

[nazgul@rivendell static]$ cat LINGUAS
de
fr
it

Hi Chingis,

You should/could upload the translations on http://l10n.gnome.org and
not creating bugs on bugzilla.gnome.org instead ;)

That exact translation should go here:
http://l10n.gnome.org/vertimus/gnome-menus/master/po/ky

Where I see a translation from yourself already from last year.

Anyway, does the language coordinator (currently Timur Jamakeev)
approves that translation and thus is already ready to be pushed to
gnome-menus' git repository?

Cheers,

String additions to 'gtk+.gtk-3-4'

2012-07-15 Thread GNOME Status Pages
This is an automatic notification from status generation scripts on:
http://l10n.gnome.org.

There have been following string additions to module 'gtk+.gtk-3-4':

+ "Whether the cell background color is set"

Note that this doesn't directly indicate a string freeze break, but it
might be worth investigating.

2012-07-15 Thread Andre Klapper
***First reminder***

Hi everybody,

it's time again for a quarterly GNOME report to let community and
companies know what has been going on between April and June 2012.

Please update your section for Q2/2012 here:

  https://live.gnome.org/GnomeMarketing/QuarterlyReports/2012/Q2

The list of potential teams and writers:

 * Board and Executive Director - Karen Sandler
 * Bugsquad - Andre Klapper
 * Release Team - Frederic Peters
 * Membership and Elections Committee - Tobias Mueller
 * GNOME User Groups - ???
 * Accessibility Team - Alejandro Piñeiro Iglesias, Joanmarie Diggs
 * Outreach Program for Women - Marina Zhurakhinskaya

If you do not have time, please consider delegating the task!

There are some sections that do not have writers yet - please fill your
name in on the wiki if you could write a summary. It really does not
have to be long!

I also assume that every writer welcomes help and input (that's why I
also send this to corresponding mailing lists).

We would like to finish the Q2 report before August 10, 2012.

Thanks for your help,
andre
