I'm happy to say that the Evolution User Guide is string frozen now that
I've fixed the last item that was on my list for 3.6.
Please feel free to translate as no further changes for 3.6 are planned!

String additions to 'gsettings-desktop-schemas.master'

2012-09-14 Thread GNOME Status Pages
This is an automatic notification from status generation scripts on:
http://l10n.gnome.org.

There have been following string additions to module
'gsettings-desktop-schemas.master':

+ List of input source identifiers available. Each source is specified as a
tuple of 2 strings. The first string is the type and can be one of 'xkb' or
'ibus'. For 'xkb' sources the second string is 'xkb_layout+xkb_variant' or just
'xkb_layout' if a XKB variant isn't needed. For 'ibus' sources the second
string is the IBus engine name. An empty list means that the X server's current
XKB layout and variant won't be touched and IBus won't be used.
+ The zero-based index into the input sources list specifying the current
one in effect. The value is automatically capped to remain in the range [0,
sources_length) as long as the sources list isn't empty.

Note that this doesn't directly indicate a string freeze break, but it
might be worth investigating.

Nautilus UI/String freeze break request

2012-09-14 Thread Cosimo Cecchi
Hi all,

I apologize for the many freeze break requests for Nautilus this
cycle, but I have one last request to commit an UI/string change.
Currently we have two mimetype columns for List view: one (enabled by
default) displaying its description as a (typically long) string, and
another one displaying the raw mimetype string.
Bug 683722 [1] proposes to change the default column to use a more
generic and compact string describing the mimetype; for instance, all
the images would be displayed as Image. The goals are to make it
possible to group objects of the same family when sorting, and to
reduce the horizontal space such a column takes in the default list
view layout. The raw mimetype string would still be available
unchanged as a view option for more advanced filtering.

The patch is available on the bug and introduces a bunch of new
(short) strings. I think this would add a good extra polish for
Nautilus 3.6.

String additions to 'gnome-online-accounts.gnome-3-6'

2012-09-14 Thread GNOME Status Pages
This is an automatic notification from status generation scripts on:
http://l10n.gnome.org.

There have been following string additions to module
'gnome-online-accounts.gnome-3-6':

+ %s account

Note that this doesn't directly indicate a string freeze break, but it
might be worth investigating.

 Hi,

I just found out that when intltool-update hits an error (like an xml
file parsing) I get the error an saw a bunch of warnings. These warnings
was about non named parameters. Once I fixed the error, these warnings
are no more displayed (on the command line and on my
 http://l10n.gnome.org module page)

This is unfortunate because there is no chance I will fix them if they
are not reported. I tried the option -x (verbose) without success.

 Bruno.

Hi Bruno,

Sorry for this late response, but what's your request/wish here about?
Do you want l10n.gnome.org to do/not to do something? Or is that on the
intltool-update level? Sorry is not clear to me (and maybe it's too late
for reading mails anyway :)

Cheers,

A bit late in the cycle, but seems an important improvement, so 1/2
for release team

+1 from me as well.

Please be that the last one for Nautilus ;)

1/2 approval from i18n team. The strings are really easy and not that
much (~10 it seems).

Cheers,

i18n approval 2/2.

But Gil, this is only a cosmetical change. Not that important at all.
That being said, it would be fine by me for .1, but not for .0.

So -1 for now, and 2/2 after 3.6.0.
