Doubt on Pitivi strings

2013-09-28 Thread Rafael Ferreira
Hi,

While translating the following 2 new strings in pitivi, I did not
understood if I should fill in the required information manually with names
or if I should simply translate the strings. Can someone help on this?

#: ../pitivi/mainwindow.py:732
msgid ""
"Contributors:\n"
"A handwritten list here would...\n"
"• be too long,\n"
"• be frequently outdated,\n"
"• not show their relative merit.\n"
"\n"
"Out of respect for our contributors, we point you instead to:\n"
msgstr ""

#. Translators: keep the %s at the end of the 1st line
#: ../pitivi/mainwindow.py:739
msgid ""
"The list of contributors on Ohloh %s\n"
"Or you can run: git shortlog -s -n"

Thanks,
Rafael Ferreira

String additions to 'gnome-maps.master'

2013-09-28 Thread GNOME Status Pages
This is an automatic notification from status generation scripts on:
http://l10n.gnome.org.

There have been following string additions to module 'gnome-maps.master':

+ "Search for country, region, city or street. Search for specific
types of locations, such as “Pubs near Main Street, Boston” or “Wi-Fi Access
near Alexanderplatz, Berlin”."
+ "I’m here!"
+ "Maps gives you quick access to maps all across the world. It allows you
to quickly find the place you’re looking for by searching for a city or street,
or locate a place to meet a friend."
+ "What’s here?"
+ "Whether the last known location was set manually by the user."
+ "Window maximization state"
+ "Window position (X and Y)."

Note that this doesn't directly indicate a string freeze break, but it
might be worth investigating.

Thanks a lot! If a module is not in the string freeze, then you can go
ahead and commit. If it is, it's better to wait until it's been
branched.

Best regards,

My guess would be to translate them as it is.

Please file a bug report against Pitivi (and set the I18N keyword).
