Doubt on Pitivi strings
Hi, While translating the following 2 new strings in pitivi, I did not understood if I should fill in the required information manually with names or if I should simply translate the strings. Can someone help on this? #: ../pitivi/mainwindow.py:732 msgid "" "Contributors:\n" "A handwritten list here would...\n" "• be too long,\n" "• be frequently outdated,\n" "• not show their relative merit.\n" "\n" "Out of respect for our contributors, we point you instead to:\n" msgstr "" #. Translators: keep the %s at the end of the 1st line #: ../pitivi/mainwindow.py:739 msgid "" "The list of contributors on Ohloh %s\n" "Or you can run: git shortlog -s -n" Thanks, Rafael Ferreira ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n
String additions to 'gnome-maps.master'
This is an automatic notification from status generation scripts on: http://l10n.gnome.org. There have been following string additions to module 'gnome-maps.master': + "Search for country, region, city or street. Search for specific types of locations, such as “Pubs near Main Street, Boston” or “Wi-Fi Access near Alexanderplatz, Berlin”." + "I’m here!" + "Maps gives you quick access to maps all across the world. It allows you to quickly find the place you’re looking for by searching for a city or street, or locate a place to meet a friend." + "What’s here?" + "Whether the last known location was set manually by the user." + "Window maximization state" + "Window position (X and Y)." Note that this doesn't directly indicate a string freeze break, but it might be worth investigating. http://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-maps/log/?h=master ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n

If a module is not in the string freeze, then you can go ahead and commit. If it is, it's better to wait until it's been branched.
