ANNOUNCE: Pitivi 0.91 released

2013-10-05 Thread Jeff Fortin
Hi everyone,

A quick announcement for our awesome localizers: Pitivi 0.91 is out!
(a blog post with details will come later)

If you were waiting for things to stabilize a bit before updating
translations, this alpha is probably an interesting release for you as
it is expected to be followed by other releases (beta, 1.0, etc.) with a
shorter cycle than the one we've just finished.

Also, if someone feels particularly heroic and would like to be the new
user manual writer, I'd definitely need help with that, the current user
manual is badly outdated and covers the 0.15.x series :)

Cheers!

P.s.: please keep me c.c.ed if replying (I'm not subscribed to the ML)

+1 from me. The pink is getting some raised eyebrows...

Unfortunately the wallpapers are translated so it does add a string :(

We don't show that string anywhere in the UI though, from what I can tell
(might be nice if we did).

I can't find it anywhere in the UI either, so here is 1/2 from i18n.

 Hello translators and release managers,

I'd like to request a string freeze break for two GNOME Shell bugs
related to the new system status menu.

 - https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=709043 deals with status
 labels for network devices

 The added strings are:

 - Not Connected
 - Disabled
 - Hardware Disabled

 - https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=709246 deals with the
links to the control center in the network device submenu

 The added strings are:

 - Mobile Broadband Settings
 - Wi-Fi Settings

These are fine-tuning fixups for a big new design, so kinda expected. I'll
give my +1 for the release team, but obviously the main affected people are
translators, so their vote will decide.

I may suggest that we commit this to master anyway, and if translators are
not comfortable with getting it in 3.10.1, we can revisit the question for
3.10.2, and backport the (by then) existing translations from master...

2/2for release team

String additions to 'gnome-backgrounds.master'

2013-10-05 Thread GNOME Status Pages
This is an automatic notification from status generation scripts on:
http://l10n.gnome.org.

There have been following string additions to module 'gnome-backgrounds.master':

+ Bokeh Tails
+ Dark Ivy
+ Flower Bed
+ Lock Screen
+ Signpost of the Shadows
+ Stones
+ Whispy Tails

Note that this doesn't directly indicate a string freeze break, but it
might be worth investigating.

Is there a reason why this landed without i18n approval? Are you going
to branch before these commits?

Best regards,
