PLANNED MAINTENANCE: Monday, Tuesday 16th - 17th Dec 2013: l10n.gnome.org, www.{gnome,guadec}.org

2013-12-16 Thread Andrea Veri
Hi,

we're in the middle of recycling two very old machines and migrate all the
services running there to the new machines kindly provided by Canonical.

The following services will be affected:

1. ns-slave.gnome.org
2. www.gnome.org
3. www.guadec.org
4. l10n.gnome.org

I unfortunately don't have a valid date / time for the outage as of now,
I'll make sure to update the thread as usual, keep an eye at [1] for an
updated overview of how the maintenance is moving forward during the
upcoming 24-48 hours.

Thanks for your patience,

Re: pt_BR translation for gnome static web

2013-12-16 Thread Rafael Ferreira
Hi there.

Some time ago I've received the "no go" answer below for translating static
and dynamic www content. Any change on this status (or, If I translate,
will it be published) ?

(CCed the current mantainers in D-L)

Some related links:
- WWW in D-L https://l10n.gnome.org/module/gnome-web-www/
- WWW in Git https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-web-www/

Cheers,
Rafael Ferreira

Re: PLANNED MAINTENANCE: Monday, Tuesday 16th - 17th Dec 2013: l10n.gnome.org, www.{gnome,guadec}.org

2013-12-16 Thread Andrea Veri
Hi,

the migration went just fine and we just had a very little downtime (maybe
less than 1-2 minutes while switching the IPs from the old machines to the
new ones), please let the Sysadmin Team [1] know if any breakage pops up in
the upcoming hours especially on l10n.gnome.org's side. (i.e missing
dependencies, wrong permissions etc.)

I would like to send a special thank you to LaMont Jones, the Canonical
Sysadmin that helped the GNOME Sysadmin Team finding and racking the new
machines in place, his passion and valuable work have made this possible. I
would also like to thank Canonical for kindly sponsoring some of the
servers that make hosting the GNOME Project possible.

Have an awesome day,
