new project in need of translation: pdfmod

2009-07-27 Thread Gabriel Burt
Hi!

I started a new application called PDF Mod. It does simple
modifications of PDF files like adding, removing, rotating, and
extracting pages.

You can read more about it and see a screenshot at:
http://live.gnome.org/PdfMod

I just pushed the code to git.gnome.org:
http://git.gnome.org/cgit/pdfmod

I would really appreciate translations! I will do a 0.4 release in a
week with any new translations contributed, though if you can't get to
it until after that, that's fine; I will keep releasing early/often.

Thanks!

It's attached. Can you remind me, is there a place I should submit
this to regularly, or do translators normally generate it themselves?

I don't think it's actually a word; what is intended, though, is to
undo the move. That is, the user dragged a page or pages to a
different location, then pressed Ctrl-Z or Edit->Undo, and there was
an error.

We have created a stable-1.6 branch that we'll release 1.6.1 from at
the end of April. It should remain string frozen, so feel free to
translate it. Active development for 1.7/1.8 will be taking place in

As mentioned on the bug, you can work around this issue without having
to compile Banshee by doing the git clone as normal, and then running
either ./autogen.sh (which will require dependencies) OR running `git
submodule update --init`. OR you can grab the 1.8.0 string-frozen pot
file here: http://banshee.fm/~gburt/tmp/banshee-1.pot

I do not know. If there's some way of specifying admins for modules
on it, I'm not set as one.

>  submodule?

No, but as mentioned on the bug we plan to move to having Hyena
contain its own translations, so the submodule will no longer affect
i18n.

Banshee master string frozen until April 3/2.0

2011-03-14 Thread Gabriel Burt
Hey translators,

Banshee master is string frozen since 1.9.5 (last Wednesday) until
April 3rd, when we'll be prepping the 2.0 release.

Since 1.8 we also have a user guide that we can use help translating.
It's in our source tree, under `help`.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that we have a submodule that complicates
things a little bit. If you clone banshee, you then need to run

git submodule update --init

to clone hyena as well. See README.l10n

Re: Banshee has a new stable-2.0 branch

2011-04-04 Thread Gabriel Burt
Hi Wouter,

We just branched stable-2.0 just hours ago, because we pre-released
the 2.0.0 tarball [0] so we could get packages ready for the Wednesday
announcement. I just added stable-2.0 to l10n.gnome.org.

I doubt we'll do any more 1.8 releases. We will do a 2.0.1 release
off the stable-2.0 branch (which is still string-frozen), and we'll
start our 2.1.x development cycle in a month or two off master (which
isn't frozen any more).

Ubuntu will probably ship either 2.0.0 or 2.0.1 if it's out in time.
