Upcoming Rhythmbox release (from trunk)
Hi everyone, I'm planning to do a new 0.11.x release of Rhythmbox (from svn trunk) in the near future, so if anyone has any updated translations, getting them into svn by the end of the coming weekend would be great. Rhythmbox doesn't strictly follow the GNOME release schedule, but we're trying to keep basically in line with it, so there shouldn't be too many string changes before a 0.12 stable release. If anyone has any issues, please let me know (and CC me, I'm not subscribed to the list). Upcoming Rhythmbox releases (0.10.1 and 0.11.0)
Hi everyone, I'm planning to do new releases of both the stable and development branches of Rhythmbox at the end of the coming weekend, so if anyone has any updated translations, getting them into svn by Saturday would be great. The stable branch (RHYTHMBOX-0_10) only has bug fixes, and so shouldn't contain any changed translatable strings. If anyone has any questions or issues, feel free to let me know, and please CC me as I'm not subscribed to the list. Rhythmbox has branched for 0.10 (was Re: Upcoming Rhythmbox release)
Hi everyone, Rhythmbox has finally started to sync back up with the Gnome release cycle, and has branched for a stable series. The SVN branch is called "RHYTHMBOX-0_10" (under the usual "branches" directory). If there's anything else I need to tell everyone, please let me know (and CC me). As mentioned below, the branch is basically string frozen. Basically. One exception we know we'll need is to add a new string for an error message required to fix a nasty bug, but the 0.10 series can be considered pretty much string-frozen. If we do need to add/modify a string, I'm not quite sure on the protocol for apps that aren't part of the Gnome desktop. Would it be better to send an email to the gnome-i18n list when I change it (and if possible give an idea of the time to the next release), or just note any string freeze breaks in the mail a week or so before a release I send to give advance notice of the release? Upcoming Rhythmbox release
G'day everyone, We're planning to make a new release of Rhythmbox soon, so if anyone has updated translations, getting them into cvs would be much appreciated - probably at the end of the coming weekend. One thing to note, is that the string for translator credits got changed from "translator_credits" to "translator-credits" to fix a problem with some translation software. If there and any locales that haven't been updated when I do the release, I'll change it so that the credit's aren't missing.
