Coordinator for the Russian team role switch
Hello, So for the past 2 days I've been communicating with Stas Solovey who is de jure still the coordinator and he said yes, he wanted to pass the role some time ago but he did not know how to do this. So I suggested him to write here on this gnome-i18n mailing list to ask for help regarding the matter, and after that he stopped responding. Can anybody here do the technical part and promote me to Coordinator? I just was put into this situation where I have to ask publicly and draw the unwanted attention, but de facto I was doing the coordinator work for around a year already, mb little less, so I think it's just time to straighten the things up. Again, apologies for any inconvenience. -- С уважением, Дронова Юлия ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n

Hi, > Was there another coordinator that you took over from? Sounds like they should have briefed you on that kind of things. > Unless there is something going on that we haven’t been made aware of? I kinda half-willingly volunteered for this since there was nobody left to do the submissions which were piling up dramatically ((: Stas just left silently a quite time ago, leaving me with the committer role, didn't know even it's not enough for a full control over the repo submittings. So if you would be so very kind as to promote me, this harmless revolution would do only good (: On Thu, 2 Jun 2022 at 13:25, Alexandre Franke wrote: > On Thu, Jun 2, 2022 at 12:18 PM Juliette Tux via gnome-i18n < > gnome-i18n@gnome.org> wrote: > >> Hello, >> I'm the coordinator of Russian team. Hello, I'm the coordinator of Russian team. There's still no option to submit translation into the repo even after fresh upload of the translation by the translator. I took the file for the proofreading, then uploaded it myself, still no option to submit to the repo. Re: How to add help translations orca to the repository?
Regarding orca help translation[1]: what does exactly "ready for submission" option mean? Since the "Submit to repo" is not available for this module rn. Re: How to add help translations orca to the repository?
Hello, I'm the committer. 2 weeks back there was no option of "submit to the repo" in the menu. We will try to do it from the very beginning today, i.e. upload the translation and see what options would be available in the menu. If I'm able to submit it to the repo, all good, if not, i will ask for further clarifications here as to what my options are in such scenarios. Also, to kill 2 issues with one stone: I had an error while trying to submit our Geary translation for Gnome-40 [1], I wrote to the maintainer (Michael Gratton, m...@vee.net) but got no response. The state of the translation at the moment is "to commit". What should I do to resolve the issue? If it's not appropriate to discuss the issue in that thread, I'll start a new one. how to update russian translation dconf-editor -2
Hello, My name is Julia Dronova, I press the buttons in the Damned Lies' web-gui to submit Russian translations. Regarding 'dconf-editor' I have my action from the archive: "Julia Dronova - Inform of submission , 1 month, 3 weeks ago". Was that info received by anybody? -- С уважением, Дронова Юлия ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n
