as far as I can see, there's a typo in gsearchtool/help/de/de.po (the
name of the table is wrong); I can't see what's wrong with the french
 localization, though.
German typo should be fixed now (rev 8119).

The new strings were introduced to fix [1]. As they were not marked by
accident, they don't count as a string freeze break. However, the
situation is unfortunately not fully resolved yet. You should already be
able to translate them, though, as the now newly added ones shouldn't
substantially change by fixing the remaining flaw.

Then you can always try to look into source code to see what's happening
there. Some catalog editors also provides built-in source code viewer for
 this purpose (e.g. KBabel, Poedit).
src/terminal-screen.c says that it's indeed for phone (VoIP) calls
(callto, h323 or sip URIs):

  { (?:callto:|h323:|sip:) USERCHARS_CLASS [ USERCHARS .]*(?: PORT

Important is the FLAVOR_VOIP_CALL. It's used in the UI to determine what
kind of actions to show, in this case the call-related actions.

Re: Translating the GNOME 2.20 release notes

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I would have never guessed to look at
gnomeweb-wml. :) Anyhow, I have the pt_BR.po file now but was
wondering about the .pot file too. It would be easier to msgmerge the
release notes from the previous version. :)
Eventually you can manually run xml2po on the xml-file. Another
alternative would be to check out the whole gnomeweb-wml tree, run
configure and then make in the release-notes subdirectory. I am not
100% sure whether this methods work. Perhaps somebody else with more
experience in this can comment on this?

Hi,

2007/9/1, Og Maciel [EMAIL PROTECTED]:

 I took a quick look at http://svn.gnome.org/viewcvs/release-notes,
assuming the release notes would be in the same location as the other
packages, but got a 404. Could you lend me a hand grabbing the *.pot
 file?

What about

?
