GCalctool string freeze request
Hi, I'd like to update the tooltips on the base buttons to include the shortcut keys, the string changes will be: "Base 2" -> "Base 2 (Ctrl+B)" "Base 8" -> "Base 2 (Ctrl+O)" "Base 16" -> "Base 2 (Ctrl+H)" These shortcut keys are included in the documentation. This change is to help users discover the shortcuts for these operations (which users want to be able to do quickly for converting between bases). ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n

Hi all, The GNOME Games module split is now complete; this means that the gnome-games git repository is obsolete and shouldn't be committed to. Changes to glChess [Gnome Games]
Hi all, There have been a few changes to glChess to fix some important features that are tripping up users. 1. A pop-up dialog has been added that tells the user what needs to be installed to enable 3D. (#389371) 2. AI difficulty has been added - the default AI is GNUchess which is very hard to beat (#388259) The result is: 1. There is a large string describing why 3D does not work by default which needs to be translated. 2. There are a number of new short strings describing game difficulty. 3. Also an unused dialog has been removed to avoid it being unnecessarily translated; this has removed. Anyone who tries it out please tell me if you think the AI difficulty is appropriate, you can change the options in the ai.xml file (copy one to ~/.gnome2/glchess). String / UI break request for gnome-software 3.20
Hi all, I'd like to backport [1] a feature from gnome-software 3.21 to 3.20. This is the authorization feature that allows plugins to prompt the user for login credentials. We are using this in Ubuntu 16.04 and would like to backport the feature to reduce our delta. Richard Hughes (gnome-software maintainer) is OK with the feature being backported as long as the string break is allowed. I think this break is not an issue for users as I've done the following: - The feature is not used by any of the default gnome-software plugins. So existing users will not see any change. - I've backported all the current trunk translations for the new strings. Hi, I'd like to request a string freeze break for a change in GNOME Software [1]. The change is to add new error messages when purchasing apps. This code is not currently used by any in-tree plugins so is unlikely to be seen by any current user. The strings are: "Unable to purchase %s: authentication was required" "Unable to purchase %s: authentication was invalid" "Unable to purchase %s: no payment method setup" "Unable to purchase %s: payment was declined" "Unable to purchase %s" Thanks, --Robert [1] https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-software/merge_requests/28 ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n

Sting freeze request for gnome-control-center gnome-3-38 branch
There is a feature added in gnome-control-center 40 to add support for showing both IPv4 and IPv6 DNS settings. The existing code didn't show the IPv6 settings. This adds two new translatable strings "DNS4" and "DNS6" which show when a connection has both IPv4 and IPv6 DNS configured. Requesting a string freeze break to add this feature.
