Hi all, We'd like to improve the newly added location access dialog in gnome-shell and one of the patches to do that, requires breaking a string. We're dropping this string: "%s is requesting access to your location." and adding this: "Location access can be changed at any time from the privacy settings." All these strings are pretty small (1 verb) and there is plenty of space available so I'm sure at least most translations will fit in. 3. We always have some specific width given to labels in our UIs so some specific translations not fitting in the allocated width, is quite a generic issue IMO. Hi, One of the main things my SoC student, Adrien Plazas has been working on as part of his project was to add a list view to Boxes: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=733252 since it's a very much in demand feature, I'd like it to be included in 3.18. Hence this email. :) Screenshot is attached to the bug. Unfortunately two of them displays new strings to user and therefore we must request string freeze break for them.
