Re: GOME Tamil Translation

2006-03-01 Thread Dinesh Nadarajah
I concure.

I simply have not been able to commit the time necessary to do justice
to the work and the expectations. I hope to contribute in the future.
Jayaradha has been the principal person active in translating Gnome to
Tamil and has single handedly maintained the translation for the past
couple of years.

Good luck to both Jayaradha and Felix.

 Hi,

My Name is Jayaradha. I am working in GNOME translation project for
 the past
 2 years.
I did translation of almost all files in GNOME 2.12 and made the
 translation
 to 90%.

I did Bug fixing for GNOME when ever necessary.
I already have GNOME CVS access.

If my current language coordinator Mr Dinesh Natarajan is not
 interested to
continue i wish to continue GNOME translation project with Mr Felix.
Mr Felix has already applied for GNOME CVS account. His Email ID is
 [EMAIL PROTECTED]

 Thanks,
 Jayaradha

Hi Jayaradha,

Sorry for being a bit slow with all this.

I welcome you as official Tamil coordinator now. You probably need no
introduction, since you're already working on translations in Gnome
and have a CVS account.

I've added your name and e-mail address to the teams page at

  http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gtp/teams.html

now. Please verify that this listing is correct.

I've also sent a mail in private to you with a request for Bugzilla
details. Bugzilla is our bug tracker that we use for tracking bug
reports in software, and, in this case also translations. Please reply
to that mail as soon as possible.

Cheers,
Danilo
