That would be great. We get contributions that are lost work since the
module is already translated, but people keep sending translations
since there is no update in DL.

I generally only do tx pull / git commit right before release. So if
DL is looking at git then there will be a couple of weeks lag or more
between files getting updated and the stats getting update.

I've done an explicit pull/commit now.

I've also set up autosync of the pot file like dimitri suggested so
new strings will make their way into transifex immediately (but there
will still be lag from translation stats)

I could potentially set up a cron script or something like that I guess.

Indeed, if the packaging system grabs the files straight from the
repo. Usually though things aren't so nice and it's really up to the
developer whether the repo file will be used.

It seems that the developer hasn't setup auto-updating of the POT file
from the repo.

Yes, D-L is using the source repo of the package. That is what count
eventually, isn't it?

Thanks, however I don't see any improvement in the stats. Both
accountsservice and shared-mime-info are 100% in Spanish but DL does
not show that. Is the po taken from other website/repositorie rather
than transifex?

Surely. It's probably a problem with crontab not running again. I've
opened https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=656409 and launched
the script manually just now.

Module accountsservice in Damned Lies

2011-08-12 Thread Jorge González
Hi there,

The module accountsservice has been translated into several languages,
but apparently DL is not updating the statistics:
http://l10n.gnome.org/vertimus/accountsservice/master/po/es
https://www.transifex.net/projects/p/accountsservice/resource/accounts-servicepot/

Is there any problem with the script that updates the translations for
external modules?

Thanks and cheers.
