There are several [1][2][3][4] translations we (Italian GNOME team) did
for freedesktop stuff useful or needed by GNOME, still pending.
There are also some modules that should add i18n support (at least [5],
others?).
Should GNOME Translation Project start poking fd.o maintainer to take
care of i18n/l10n? Note that we are speaking about major tasks, like
authentication to unmount drives, or shut down the system when another
user is logged in on other console. Also, we are speaking about
developers that are GNOME developers too, they should know about the
importance of l10n/i18n.
Those labels _have_ to be translated running GNOME, or we'll provide a
really dumb experience to uses.
Any good idea to
a) provide and commit translations ASAP for 2.28 release
b) better l10n/i18n for freedestop.org stuff in future
?
