Re: Adding policykit-gnome to damned-lies

2008-04-07 Thread Kenneth Nielsen

OK. Btw, there's some Danish translations (my first language) already of
(I suppose) dubious quality. Do feel free to replace them with something
better; I did them mostly to test that i18n actually worked. Thanks!

Hallo David
Please include a comment about this is in the header of the po-file (the
comment for the first string). Just write that the traslations in the file
has not been reviewed and that whomever has a look at this translation after
April 7 2008 should review all translations and then delete the comment OR
if you would like to translate it your self then write me back and I'll
inform you of the procedures.
Best regards Kenneth Nielsen

Also: I haven't done a very good job of using the /* Translator */ hints
in the code; I'll try to improve on that in the future.

 Thanks for translating this!

   David

Yes, that would be the best way for us, GNOME translators, and probably
for you too, because you won't have to bother for committing new
 translations yourself.
Just tell us when the repos has moved.

I've finally managed to move the code to SVN; the repo is here

Thanks,

Well done. Thanks.
I've updated l10n.gnome.org:
http://l10n.gnome.org/module/policykit-gnome

Teams, there is already some translations available in Launchpad for
this module, this could be a base start for you:
https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/hardy/+source/policykit-gnome/+pots/policykit-gnome/

Attached is a tar file with all translations downloaded from Launchpad
today at 07:04 UTC. David, don't commit these translations yourself,
teams will do that if they find the quality sufficient.

Hi

How can we submit translations for this package? I can't see it using TP[1], or
svn-git 'mirroring' (can't find better
word, sorry) like packagekit-gnome[2], neither it's bugzilla[3].
I think we can add it to d-l, but without a decent way to get the translations
in the sources, it's quite pointless.
