Re: String change in gnome-session

2011-03-13 Thread Johannes Schmid
Hi!

This is about the startup message we show when we have to go to
fallback mode because of lack of hw accel. The current string is not
grammatically correct and reads a bit awkward.

It is a fairly new string and may not yet be widely translated anyway.

 Ok, to commit ?

Makes sense, 1/2 from i18n.

Johannes

No, there was yet another bug[1] about that string, and the proposed commit
fixes only one of the two issues (the run verb and the misleading
graphics hardware).

BTW (and a little polemical), William was yet known to the existing bug, I
fail to see the reason to open a separate bug :/

I'm going to ignore the polemic. So, would

Thanks for pointing this out. Let's try to agree on and fix these two issues
quickly so translators can work on a final wording during the next week.

Assuming that Johannes is fine with the second fix too, approval 2 of 2
from gnome-i18n.

Best,

Yes, this seems the proper solution, thinking of Alexander's suggestion too.
Thanks.
