String additions to 'gnome-terminal.HEAD'

2008-03-19 Thread GNOME Status Pages
This is an automatic notification from status generation scripts on:
http://l10n.gnome.org/.

There have been following string additions to module 'gnome-terminal.HEAD':

+ "C_urrent Profile…"
+ "Move Tab _Left"
+ "Move Tab _Right"
+ "New _Profile…"
+ "P_rofiles…"
+ "_Add or Remove…"
+ "_Detach tab"
+ "_Keyboard Shortcuts…"
+ "_Set Title…"
+ "_Tabs"

Note that this doesn't directly indicate a string freeze break, but it
might be worth investigating.

This is the revert of the preceding string change.

I was just wondering, are these notices sent to the package maintainer
as well? That might speed up undoing of accidental freeze breaks. As far
as I can tell, Damned Lies knows who is the maintainer of each package.

just for future reference,
http://live.gnome.org/TranslationProject/HandlingStringFreezes says:
"The following types of changes do not need explicit approval, however
we would still very much like them to be announced so that we know about
them: Marking a message for translation that was previously not marked

Yes, the fix is just marked for intltool and any strings are not modified.
I'ld like to close this if there are no objections.

Hi Jonh,

You're right, it is not strictly speaking a string freeze. My bad.

So the commit can stay as is. Translators, to your keyboards :-)

When compiling gnome-terminal trunk, the version number is still 2.18.3.
How about branch and update it?

Hi. I'm not an gnome-terminal expert, but those strings seem to be old,
and my guess is what happened was they were not marked for translation,
and now they are. So, it's not a string freeze break, right?

Hi Takao,

Sorry, but gnome-terminal trunk is subject to string freeze, so you
should revert revision 2272, and ask the maintainers to branch
gnome-terminal before committing again.
