String freeze break request for Nautilus

2010-09-10 Thread Cosimo Cecchi
Hi everyone,

I'm requesting a string freeze break for Nautilus' bug 628855 [1], which
is about non-i18n friendly strings in the file conflict dialogue.

The patch was requested by a translator and a first revision of it was
coded by a coordinator of the i18n team, so you probably already know
better than me why those strings needs fixing :)

Wouter already gave one approval on the bug report, but it was for a
previous iteration of the patch.

Please CC myself in replies, as I don't receive mail from these lists.

Cheers,

Cosimo

String freeze break request for nautilus

2008-02-21 Thread Vincent Untz
Hi,

To bring the "Connect to" dialog back, we need two new strings in
nautilus:

 + "Bookmark _name"
 + "Add _bookmark"

Without this, the "Connect to" dialog won't be able to save where people
connected to, which is a regression from previous GNOME releases.

String freeze break request for Nautilus

2018-03-02 Thread Ernestas Kulik
Hello,

This kind of bad to not have dealt with earlier, but I’d like modify a
string in the settings schema and add a string to the preferences
window. Both pertain to size limits for thumbnailable files.

Here’s the MR with the changes visible:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/nautilus/merge_requests/126/diffs

Also attaching a screenshot from the preferences window with the new
string.

Best,

I already let you know in the bug report, but to make it clear: here's
approval 1/2, also for your refinement of my original patch.

As this is a serious translation issue, here is my 2/2 approvals.

Thanks, I pushed the patch to both master and the gnome-2-32 branch.
I will roll 2.31.92 on Monday, so translators can have the chance to
update the strings for the release candidate during the weekend.

To me this also seems to be related to the network support in Nautilus,
which has been marked a blocker bug. So here's approval 1/2.

Approval 1 of 2! Anyway, we really should think about postponing a
release two weeks in case we have so much unfinished stuff that WILL
break freezes next time. We have had too many freeze breaks this week!

Johannes

Yes, it's the label for a GtkEntry in which you can enter a bookmark name,
such as "My Website SFTP".
