Hi Fabio, Indeed it seems to be a typo. I removed the second "that" it in the commit https://git.gnome.org/browse/release-notes/commit/?h=gnome-3-28&id=8966b1ea1b92a3304237c0bfa6874c2418004093 Thanks for reporting. 2018-03-06 2:47 GMT-03:00 Fabio Tomat : > I'm not english but this sentence sounds me wrong, so I just ask to the > community if it's ok: > > "Character forms and spacing have been evolved, so that text that is more > readable and attractive." > > Is the sencond "that" ok? > > ___ > gnome-i18n mailing list > gnome-i18n@gnome.org > https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n > ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n

I saw the POT file for release notes of 3.4 and I found Telugu(te) language included. I guess telugu will be included in the release notes. Hi Murray, Luca, (Luca, you seem to be using older, slightly incompatible, xml2po version; please upgrade to latest CVS, which will break some of your translations, but that couldn't have been avoided, sorry :() Today at 15:32, Murray Cumming wrote: > Danilo, I'll let you decide whether to apply this string-freeze-breaking > patch, on behalf of translators. At least some of the translators have already completed translations, so I won't apply this now. Also, we don't want to force authors to do this, we need to consider a final/ignored tag, so PO file should end up with a message like: #: ../rnapplets.xml:43 msgid "" "GNOME 2.10 features an optional trashcan for your Panel. " "Just like the trashcan on your desktop, you can now drag " "and drop files and other items into the trash without " "minimising your open windows. " msgstr "" where would be replaced with the entire tag, and there would be separate messages for whatever is in it. Whoever wants to track progress on this (I'll start cleaning it up only *after* release notes are finally published), watch #169197[1].
