[Gnome-zeitgeist] [Bug 518539] Re: Support for websites
I wrote a script to automate the creation of thumbnails for urls using webkit but it is way too slow to be reasonable. The only way to solve this efficiently would for browser plugins to generate the thumb as they visited pages for hostnames. We need to have a generic content wrapper in place before we start displaying websites. Something similar to GioFile. That instance should be stored in place of the uri in the thumb/timeline/daywidgets so that the context menu can decide what entries to display and actions to take. ** Changed in: gnome-activity-journal Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: gnome-activity-journal Status: New => Confirmed -- Support for websites https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/518539 You received this bug notification because you are a member of GNOME Zeitgeist Team, which is the registrant for GNOME Activity Journal.
