Re: Scheduled transactions
As a test I have re-entered the amount for one of my scheduled transactions. It appeared with comas and the next month transaction was created smoothly. So thank you. Re: Scheduled transactions
Locale seems indeed to have changed as, with the latest version of GC, most everything turns up automatically in French (based on my IP or something). With the version I was using before you had to vset the locale by hand if you wanted it different from US (which I had not done). What should I do? Just replace the dots with comas in the formulas? If I have to I would gladly delete all my scheduled transactions and create them again, but they won't go away. Alain Le 06/10/2017 à 17:31, Derek Atkins a écrit : prl writes: Somehow, though, the scheduled transactions seem to be using '.' for the decimal separator (from the error message). Perhaps if you re-write the values in the scheduled transactions, the problem will be fixed. The issue is that the SX stores as a text string, not a number. If you entered the SX and then changed your locale then GnuCash will get confused and wont be able to re-parse the SX. Please remember to CC this list on all your replies. Scheduled transactions
Hi! Since I reinstalled GC (2.6.17) under Win 10 on a new computer, everytime I launch GC, I get this type of error message: "Error parsing SX [name of a (scheduled) transaction] key [debit formula] = formula [14.90] at [.90] caractère non défini." In some instances "[credit formula]" instead of debit. Each time I get this message, a new transaction is generated but with no amount. I tried to cancel my scheduled transaction to create them from scratch, but they won't go away. I can de-activate them but not delete them from my schedule. Help very much appreciated TIA Alain --- L'absence de virus dans ce courrier électronique a été vérifiée par le logiciel antivirus Avast. https://www.avast.com/antivirus ___ gnucash-user mailing list gnucash-user@gnucash.org https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user - Please remember to CC this list on all your replies. Unrealized losses (or gains)
Hello David. I'm returning with the problem we discussed in April which I have let sleep for a while. I can't find the mail you kindly sent me on April 28, so I can't quote it. My problem is I had in the past "Unrealized losses" (and gains) which turn up on given dates and vanish on other. You advised me to identify the dates and see what can have gone wrong then. I found the dates. I ran a "Transaction report" for those two particumar dates. Does nothing for me: The unrealized gain is huge (roughly my total icome for the year) but in the list of transactions on those two dates all that comes up is a few petty amounts, maximum 100 EUR (I have selected "all accounts" including hidden). Ideas? Many thanks in advance.
